Glasgow Science Centre, Tower Interactive

Glasgow Science Centre wanted to elevate the visitor experience at their iconic Glasgow Tower, a structure renowned for its unique 360° rotation and breathtaking city views.

The brief was to develop an interactive touch screen system that would not only provide visitors with an innovative wayfinding tool but also offer contextual information about local landmarks and the city's rich history.

The delivered solution comprises multiple placed touch screen installations within the Tower, each providing visitors with an interactive panorama of local landmarks, historical narratives, and navigational guidance. The integrated gyroscope and compass technology ensures that the displayed views dynamically adjust in real-time, mirroring the Tower's rotation and creating a truly immersive experience.

This project successfully enhances visitor engagement and provides valuable information about the surrounding area, contributing to the Glasgow Science Centre's mission of inspiring a passion for science and technology among its visitors.
